So I have been practicing some sets and you can see them in my Mercenary Practice sets. The lighting is a bit wonky but I am trying to work on it. Sigh... Tonight I have to get together with some old family friends. You know... the type that you haven't seen in years yet your expected to entertain them because they have a daughter your age that is coming along. I shudder every time I have to think about entertaining anyone. These people are your perfect American dream family as well... Preppy, Goal Orientated, and highly Religious... it just makes me want to gag.
I never do will with the highly religious, not that I dislike religion, I just dislike some of the thought forms that come along with it. I myself was raised jewish but currently enjoy more of an Existentialist outlook on life. To say the least I think i have read to much Nietzche to properly be able to believe in any sort of a Higher power. This is probably one of the reasons why I have never done too well in AA or Na Meetings. I am just a stubborn little Atheist that is quite stuck in the ways of Science and self empowerment. However I have studied many religions and have found that the one I admire the most is the Hindu religion, because It believes god is in everything, a part of everything, a being that is neither good nor bad, but holds qualities of both, that I can respect. In fact, because I wake up so early (cause I take long naps during the majority of the day) I have started learning hindi, to pass the hours when everyone else is still asleep.

Sometimes people hooked on religion are easily manipulated to think about new ideas. They want something to latch onto, which is how religion serves them, but other ideas can serve the same purpose, if presented in an unthreatning manner.
