Sorry that I have been gone! It has been days on the road and lots of packing! I have finally made it to Edmonton Alberta! We have moved into the house, however our moving van is yet to arrive until November 1st so I am sleeping on the floor and sitting on the ground. Thank goodness I took my lap top with me and was able to find a connection otherwise I would be board out of my mind. All the books i have brought with me have been read and currently I am sitting here quite disgruntled. The moving van should have been here yesterday but for some stupid reason they haven't even left yet!
Anyway the drive was relatively easy, except for being held up at the boarder for seven hours we made good time. Yes I was held up at the boader because my stupid father refused to let us import the van. After a few bribes and lots of phone calls they finally let us go. Stupid fuckwit tried to even controll us from california!
It is cold here and I am still getting used to it. My poor dog is misrable after riding in the car for 4 days straight and is now confined to the bathroom because the yard is yet to be fenced! However, I like it a lot here, the people are so much nicer than those in Sacramento, man I never realized how many ass holes that city heald until I moved here.
So anyway time to scrounge for food, wich is quite meager because we only brought snacks! I will write more later!
