The boxes are coming out the packing tape is ripping - everywhere there is motion. Plans and dreams set in place months and years ago are coming to fruition. This is the time of action, of discarding, of rebuilding, of organizing, of chaos - starting with a beginner's mind in a new space.

I would normally approach this process with delight underpinned with anxiety. This time though I am seeing the bigger picture, a dream coming true, and holding that thought in my heart and mind makes it manageable. I keep parsing my thoughts down to very simple phrases.

1. I am excited
2. about moving
3. to a new place
4. making it both ours
5. and my own.

Each piece has its own line because each portion needs weight and thought. So much heaped onto each part of the thought makes the thought itself overwhelming. Breaking it down helps me see the process, helps give order to my chaotic monkey mind. When I can breathe through 1 - 5 slowly and deliberately I can see how much more is actually loaded onto the individual thought.

Keeping each part of my thought simple helps me focus on the delight and deep belly joy of this dream coming true.
