Every so often, I find it interesting to walk home from work down everyone's favorite "Trapped In The 80's" main road, Colfax a.k.a. US Hwy 40. Apparently Hwy 40 is one of the longest continuous U.S. highways in the country (but there are conflicting stories around that, so do some homework before quoting me
). At any rate, being carjacked on Colfax in Denver bears a high chance of having it happen at knifepoint instead of gunpoint. Like I said, trapped in the 80's.
Today, I decided to walk halfway home enjoying the seemingly random activity of strangers who have no intention of speaking to one another. As a result of this unexpected walk, I was able to complete an errand that had been ignored for a few weeks (at least I have printer ink again). I also got to people watch, which is fun from time to time. Walking down Colfax always gives me time to reflect on things happening in my life, and in this crazy stream of work-school-family-work-friends-lover-work-friends-school, sometimes its nice to have the loud music on the outside of your head.
Where was I going with this? Oh yeah... nowhere. My coursework is beginning to crush my free time like a lead weight again, and I can feel myself starting to get really distracted by it all. So a note to anyone reading this... while I'll try and keep the journal thing going, I'm betting that it will be sporadic at best. Keep the faith. As classes wind down I'll post more often.
So until next time, this is Yungeinstein... signing out.

The nice part of this site as well, as there are so many communities that she can advertise her website as well. So, it works out well.
