Yep! We call it the circuit. There's actually somewhere around 100 different festivals across the country ranging from a few days to a few months long. It would be difficult to work more than, oh, 12 or 15 in one year though, given that the major shows are around 8 weeks long and usually overlap other shows.

I was in college for 9 years and then I got a job in one, so I guess I never left...
Indeed, having a passport must make you want to use it. And, as an American coming to Italy, you might even get some stamps in it!! I don't think I've ever had a stamp in my passport in my adult life. But I'm going to Australia in a couple of weeks time, so here's hoping (it'll be just my luck if they've stopped giving stamps as a cost-cutting measure or some such...)
