So in the spirit of life happening, let's recap some important events.
Back on January 2nd I had a baby. She is furry and beautiful and a happy little bag of potatos named Sugar. I'm certain that you all have seen her and know of whom I speak. She's even sitting at my feet being a little sleep-potato right now. We brought her home at 5.5 weeks. Not advisable unless you really know what you're doing with puppies of any breed, potato or otherwise. She's kept me extremely busy but I love every bit of it. She's constantly training to be my little service dog, so she gets to go everywhere I go toward that end.
About two weeks after our sweet-potato came home I was given a promotion (in billet, not rank) to the head of my entire school. It was a huge shock to me. Challenges of a new job abound but I'm rolling with it well. It's impossible to prepare for everything, but it is possible to handle everything. So in true Marine form I'm always planning for the worst and hoping for the best. Ya dig?
Since then not much has happened that's blog worthy.
Now I'm just hooking and jabbing on the daily! Hope all is well with each and every one of you!
