I am a EXTREMELY personal person, and ESPECIALLY when it comes to any kind of business adventure. From small drama to larger court related issues, I keep it ALL private.
I have always been like this, growing up in a felon household, growing up to become apart of the prion system here in the states, going through drug related court cases and through it all it is INSTILLED in me to not talk.
Why??
Well besides the obvious ( i think ) to never incriminate yourself, my BIGGEST reason for never sharing drama or even speaking about issues I've taken to court and won is because I would never want to damage my own or others reputations. I truly feel like the issues I may have with someone have NO BEARING on anything they do with another business adventure, nor do issues with one person roll over to the next strictly from anger ( in my opinion )
This being said, I have now been through a court case ( WON), been through the "fight" stage of dealing with someone unprofessional and am currently going through even more court related things to insure my judgement from the courts is seen from this individual. I now feel ( my own personal opinion, some evidence ) that said person is trying to defame and ruin the image created through "he said, she said" statements without backup.
My OVERALL question would be if your name was being used negatively and effecting your work/ business by an individual that is upset with being in the wrong, what do you do?
Do you stay quiet and stick to yourself like usual?
>> I will say that I have tried to act/say nothing happened to whomever I am trying to work with, however I am seeing that these individuals either ignore, read and leave or associate with said individual and magically ignore me afterwards <<
For this very reason I am asking all of my fellow babes, members, friends and photographers to please ( kindly ) share your thoughts on what should or shouldn't be done, your own experiences, ideas, helpful uplifting words or just help in general on what would you do?
