Since my debut set PURE MORNING was Set Of the Day last Saturday, I've been overwhelmed with all the love and support you guys have been showing me, so there's really no other way to start this blog other than saying: thank you so much. Truly, you're the best. 💕
Some of you have been here for a while but I've noticed a number of new faces, so I thought I'd introduce myself properly and share a few things about me. I'm expecting to learn some things about you too in the comments!
My name is Amy Yiro, I'm from Brazil. I live in a small town by the beach since the day I was born but I have to admit that even though I LOVE the beach, I don't enjoy it as often as I should. I think I'm too used to it. But I'm trying to change that and allow myself more time with nature.
I'm neurodivergent and EXTREMELY introverted. Staying indoors and doing indoor stuff is my idea of a good time. Being raised by a gamer dad, I play videogames since I was basically a toddler. Action/adventure and RPG are my go-to genres. I also love watching movies and TV shows (and I looove talking about it).
I started teaching myself English as a 5 year old, when I watched Michael Jackson's music video 'You Rock My World' and found out that he didn't speak Portuguese like me (I swear to god). Thankfully I had a lot of encouragement from my parents and I didn't have much else to do, so at 12 I was already fluent and later on I became an English teacher. I also speak decent Spanish (I try my best), I can read Greek characters and my dream language is German.
Modeling is very new to me and I'm still figuring it out. I was actually kinda low profile on social media for yeeears until recently. Besides this new-found passion, I have a degree in Advertising and I currently own a small company that focuses on digital marketing, art direction and branding for businesses.
