This website is promoting a nice idea: giving fun instead of candies for Halloween. They're giving out a free copy of Plants vs Zombies. (codes can only be redeemed from October 30th to November 10th)
We don't celebrate Halloween over here, so I don't know how much of an issue are candies for kids on Halloween... But I think that, as long as it's done with moderation (as in, a few candies per day at maximum), it's fine.
The idea in that website seems nice, anyway.
Also, I'll be a writer about games on a website that a few friends of mine created, it talks about games, music, movies and series. We'll be focusing on news, articles and reviews with a more laid-back, fun style, while also keeping it professional. Woo!
PS: One day, I'll participate in a true Halloween celebration - wearing a costume, giving out candies, Halloween parties, the whole shebang.
