I got the shit kicked out of me up in Harlem a few hours ago- by a white guy- a punk rocker, no less. He had a chain in his hand when he hit me, so now I've got cuts all over my face like a fucking boxer or something. I can tell people I'm training for the light middlewieght title. Kept my wallet though, so I guess that's the important thing. I thought I'd lost my contact lens- which would have been a real disaster since I forgot the keys to my storage units- but it turns out it was just blood in my eye. Got blood all over my jeans though; now that just blows, they were expensive.

Honestly, this is minor as far as worries go- the retarted shit people say underneath their breath hurts me far worse. But that's life...
