This is the greatest video I've seen in a long time, taken from one of my all-time favorite movies. It's a riot, so check it out:
It Rubs the Lotion on its Skin
We went to the Ani show @the Keswick on Monday, and it was fucking amazing. We had 5th row seats, which rocks because we just bought them last month. Hamell on Trial opened for her, and he's a damn funny guy. My one complaint: there's nothing like an Ani show to make you feel old. It was ridiculous how many baby dykes were there. I... Read More
Well, we went to Boston for an Easter weekend vacation. If I get around to resizing the pics to fit, I'll post some. It felt so good to be in a nice hotel, with no alarms, work, or school. Unfortunately, because my body is so used to it(and I'm an insomniac anyway), I still woke up at 7:00 in the morning. Hotel beds, no matter... Read More
Yes of course you can see the happy dance. I think that very soon we will happy dance together all around our newly leaved and flowered part of the country. Ooooo! We should have a picnic!
ahh yes the downside to living in small towns in the bible belt
(wait, im pretty sure there are more.... )
perhaps half of the problem is that when i do go out the locals scare me back into the safety of my home
I don't know if I've been to Treca - probably - used to spend every weekend up there b/c I was close with a band that lives and plays there frequently so we ended up at Spence's and Rex's an AWFUL lot - and I was also dating some fool who lived above and most likely still bartends at Jitters though he was mostly incoherent.
But the whole town became unbearable for me - the locals have all been there forever and are so intertwined in each others lives and it's such a freaking college town...ack...the drama...vomitous...I made my great escape.
I keep looking for you. I'm afraid our schedules are opposed. I guess these are the hazards of being busy hip ladies. We'll catch up soon. I just know it!
I am stuck watching the midgets tonight. It's cool. I won at Chutes and Ladders for once. Maybe it's because this time we played that you go up the chutes and down the ladders. Yes, it is entirely possible I spend too much of my time with a four year old. At least his parents fed me wine. Yum!
Hey all. Damn, I've been so busy lately. I go from work to school to home in bed to work, and so on. School is freaking awesome, but I have 2 complaints: 1) I don't get to see my gf Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays; 2) I'm too wired from all that learnin' to sleep, EVER. Not a good time, you know? I did, however, finally... Read More
Awww, thanks for all of the birthday wishes! Yes, yesterday was the beginning of the 28th year of my life. What do I have to show for my time here on this Earth? Shitty credit, no college graduation yet, 3 gray hairs coming out of hiding, and the inability to stay up as late as I used to/do most of the drugs that I used... Read More
alicat: Actually, it's something like 660 course hours. It's Tues/Thurs nights, and Saturday days. So, I work 10-6 on Mon,Wed,and Friday. THEN-Tues & Thurs working from 9-4:30, drive 25 minutes, school from 5:30-10, school on Saturday from 10-12:30 and 1-4. What a good time, huh? We have trimesters, so I get done before Xmas next December. It's worth it and all, but I'm so not looking forward to the lack of time with the puppy and gf.
Jordon: Yeah, I'm getting up there. Medicare looms. LOL. Yes, the Melting Pot is one of the greatest restaurant inventions. If it wasn't for the price, I'd live there.
I finally put a new pic up. That's my beautiful girl on the left, me on the right. This was taken in August, on a family vacation to Hilton Head. I don't think we were drunk yet. alicat: Yes, I'm starting PSMT in January. I'm pretty excited. I had to take a loan out, because I'm a poor kid. The books are hella expensive,... Read More
