this bike is temporary. i couldn't pass it up, it's got 300 miles on it (1983) and it was suuuuuper cheap. the guy is in his 60's and he bought it and it was to much bike for him so it just sat there. he thought I'd be a good owner so he offered it to me. laugh-- you rock. Yeah, it sounds like there was a lot of heavy stuff in that relationship. I've been with my boy since I was 14 (married almost 4 years, but together most of the past 11.) So I get how getting together young can leave some interesting imprints. It sucks that you stopped talking, but I can see why. At various bad parts of my relationship, if I didn't cut off completely I would be sucked in against my will, regardless of what was best. The magnetic nature of ourselves would make it such that we couldn't help it.
