this is a little about my life since I don't talk too much about myself ...
Tip for saving money on a rent studio in Manhattan ...
1. Take out any unnecessary light bulbs... ie, my bathroom uses 3 bulbs so I took out two of them .. saving 120 Watts of power.. next, take out some of the bulbs in my ceiling ...
2. only eat out on Fridays ... I can pretty much live on fast food all week long and I sometimes goes back home to Brookyn for home cook food ...
3. Buy shower curtains in local stores ... I tried to buy some shower curtains in Kmart but it cost $15 so I went to a local store and some cheap shit shower curtains for $3 .. it is only shower curtains, so the price was right ...
4. Only own furniture that you really need. My basic room :
A comfy full size bed.
A futon for guest .
A 30 inch flat LCD TV . Got a good deal online .
A laptop .
A small table for eating .
Internet and cable connection . I have to be on the grid ...
and a small coffee table in front of the futon to put my legs up when I'm watching TV ...
and surprisingly I can fit everything on a studio the size of my office ... this is New York for you ... and pay half of my paycheck on rent every month ...
future tips coming, once I figured them out ...
