Well it certainly feels good to be long done with classes for the day. Now I'm just sitting in my room, done with all my homework and relaxing until six or so when my friend Jessica and I are going to have mad awesome adventures of the type that you will most likely be way jealous of. The long weekend was pretty ok. I got to go home and celebrate my birthday with my family which is always nice. My mom and dad made my favorite foods (pasta salad and homemade pizza) and a great dessert (chocolate spice cake and homemade ice cream). Got a ton of fun music (Hellogoodbye, Regina Spektor, AFI, and Dragon Force), some good movies (What the Bleep?: Down the Rabbit Hole, Clerks, and Smoke Signals) and some video games (Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus and God of War...yes I am a nerd.) By far my favorite gift was something that my mom gave me though. I've been doing my best to learn to cook and bake over the last few months. So my mom tok a few of the recipes I learned and stuff that I enjoy eating and put them on recipe cards in a batman lunchbox. So now I have my very own recipe box of awesomeness. I also got a book that I've wanted for a while. Its the Elements of Style by EB White. I know thats really nerdy of me to want a book about writing, but I'm so glad that I got the copy that I did. Its a beautiful book.
You know, it sucks when you get your heart broken. You start to see that person in everyone. This girl that recently hurt me pretty badly (and who was absolutely amazing) often wore her hair in a pompadour. Now guess what hairstyle I see all over campus every day of the week? Not exactly pleasant. I'm doing my best to get over her, but its kind of hard you know?
I'm also thinking about finally getting my first tattoo. I kind of want to get the outline of Michigan on the back of my right arm with a dot for where I'm from. Derivative I know.
Thats enough for now. Leave some love.
