Yay! I have old university friends visiting for a few days.

I now have 60 minutes to tidy the flat for them coming before I have to go pick them up...

Tired, tired, tired.

So, it's the start (almost) of Payroll Year End 2006. 9 weeks of 12 hour days, 7 days a week. Great !

On the upside...in a couple of months there is going to be a whole lotta spending going on.

So I'm developing this HUGE crush on a girl at work. She works in the same office, but we don't work together so I've never actually gotten to speak to her, but she walks up and down the office all day long. I'd try to catch her at the drinks machine or something, but she terrifies me.

The other day I found myself getting excited about some new carpet I found for the living room.

Fuck. I'm officially old.

Hangovers are bad.

But 80's teen movies rock. The Breakfast Club, The Goonies and Weird Science have all been taken care of...I just wish I had a copy of St Elmo's Fire.

Well, it turns out that the only interesting and cheap thing that I know of is wine. Lots of wine.

It's everything I dreamed it could be.

I was suppoed to be going down to London this weekend for a few days of debauchery with my friend, but goddamned car insurance renewals and extortionate gas bills combined with a whole load of impulse purchases have crippled my bank account so I may now have to give it a miss.
