I like being able to put videos in my Blog, so I figure I will do it again. I tried to think of something to do, and I decided to post the trailers to movies I will more than likely be going to see opening day or to a midnight showing if at all possible.
5. X-Men First Class.
This is probably going to make some fanboys feel a bit of rage, I have heard good and bad about this movie. I do know that X-Men first class consisted of a totally different line up than what is being portrayed in this movie, aside from Beast, and I am okay with it. We get to see some new mutants, we get to see Charles and Erik, and we finally get yellow and blue costumes. The trailer is new, and after seeing it, I can say that I am willing to shell out the money to see what is going to happen.
4. Transformers: Dark of the moon
Who doesn't want to watch giant robots kick the nuts and bolts out of each other on the big screen? Transformers is just one of those movies you have to watch in a movie theater to get the full experience. Again, a lot of bitching about no Megan Fox, but if her not being in it is why you are not going to see this movie, by all means stay home.
3. Thor
This is one of those movies I have to see, it's the origins of Thor, and Iron Man and Captain America it's going to set the stage for one of the heavy hitters in the Avengers movie. Plus how can you not want to see if the rumors are true and Hawkeye will make an appearance in this movie? It's just one step closer to the Nerdgasm that's going to be the Avengers movie.
2. Captain America: The First Avenger
Nazi bashing hasn't been this fun since Inglorious Basterds, like I said with Thor, this is a step towards the Avengers movie, and frankly I think it loos pretty badass.
1. Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
Come on, it's Captain Jack Sparrow, how could you not want to see this? Again I've heard people complaining about Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley not being in this movie. I don't care, Captain Jack Sparrow is what makes the movie. I am very excited about the new exploits Captain Jack.
So it may seem like I am jumping on the Marvel bandwagon with the X-Men, Thor, and Cap plug, and I am okay with that. I grew up reading Marvel comics, and I still do. That doesn't mean that's all I read, but a majority of what I do read is Marvel. It also doesn't mean I am not going to go see the Deadpool, sorry, Green Lantern movie. I may catch it at some point, or just catch it on DVD. I think this summer is going to be full of Geektastic movies, if I missed anything, or you know of any other good movies I should catch let me know.
Later.
