So Halloween was looking like it was gonna be a first in a lot of things. I was invited to go to a big bar with a nice friend that said she would help me meet new people. Not only that I was also invited out by my friend david that said " After I finish eating I'll give you a call and tell you where we are going." I also had plans to meet up with a girl that I find girlfriend material at some point when she text me. Also had plans with another friend that said she would call to tell me what she was doing.

I waited until 1 with no one answering their phones or text messages. I went to bed and fell asleep since I knew I had been ditched by all of those people. One of which had a valid excuse that she told me that night she couldn't go out. She is a mother and her baby wasn't feeling well so she didn't want to leave the house. Since last night my friend David hasn't text or called since last night. Although I saw it coming considering he has a way of only talking to me when he feels like it. The girl that i seemed to like I believe has found a significant other over the night, I never knew her number and she avoided me pretty well so I didn't think anything would come of this anyway. And the last friend, well she text me this morning asking why she isn't on my top 8 on my friends list just now.



I'm considering taking up some form of drinking. My friend suggested a jack and coke since I don't like alcohol's taste and I would be okay getting slightly buzzed just to loosen up since I don't like the idea of drunk.

He specified 25% alcohal and 75% coke for the best outcome. Any thoughts on if this sounds about right?

I don't think alcohol is going to help you my dear. I am sorry your friends were being so lame and not there for you. I have been there myself but getting buzzed will only make you feel better for as long as that lasts or until you get drunk and pass out. Maybe you should just go out for a walk and get some chocolate or if you like shrimp have some shrimp cocktail with seltzer and lime in it. Shrimp and chocolate raise your natural endorphines and help you feel happier. If you are going to drink just get some wine coolers or something. They are really light. Just be careful and maybe it is time to start looking for some new friends.
