The 10 things you dont know about me concept is fun so I'm getting on board
1. I was a Heroin addict in San Diego and then moved to TJ for a year and a half to pursue my "hobby"
2. While there I was put in a jail for stealing a car off a main street(what I was thinking I have no idea) and 3 other times for a long list of crimes
3. I moved to TJ to hussle the streets-i.e. Smuggling drugs and I am sorry to say guns as well, burning down amatures, staging fake arrests, steeling cars, and taking a cut from the Jons I would bring to some of the women who work the streets, and anything else that I thought might bring my life to a quick and dramatic end.(junkies are not happy people on the whole)
4. My intrest in Heroin was sparked by William Burroughs and I looked for a did junk without any friends along-It was just for me. I never told anyone, however some people did find out (mostly due to massive weight loss
5. During my adventures I ended up doing almost 2 years in jail-only one year was strait.
6. I collected 4 felonies by the end. Some in other states, if they had all been in Cali. I would still be behind bars for a very long time to come.
7. I ran from the last one of those charges to Mexico for 6 months and then to London for another 7-8 months before comming home because the food and homesickness was worse than jail
8. I was evaluated by a court shrink and was diagonsed with the following-
Axis I- Dysthymic Disorder (depression)
Axis II- Features of Narcissistic Personalitity Disorders
Axis III- Featurers of Antisocial Behavior
9. I moved to Minnesota to undergo treatment for Drug Addiction and have been strait for 2 years (off smack, I still love my wine
) but have gone back twice-both times I overdosed and died and was brought back in the ER/weeks in ICU
10. It has been a year since any of that I hold a 4.0 and work and go to school full time and run a music studio.
11. I went to "progressive" artsy schools and was never taught how to spell. These aren't typos. I've never had a spelling test in my life.
I have read in many of your Journals about friends that have had the same problems and I sorta wanted to tell all of you that people DO change. or at least they can. I was 100% a lost cause and the Friends I have now find it hard to belive that any of that ever happened. take heart. no one is a lost cause.

Change is only for the very brave. That is why not everyone can do it.
