The Tilsner is one of many Artisit co-ops around this area. There is a company called Artspace that has a hand in most of them. They also run some in Minneapolis and around the country. It is quite easy to apply. $25 app fee. Then if room is available, you interview for the room and bingo, you in. There are ALL sorts of artist in the building. Music/painters/pottery/theatre/landscapers/et cetera. We have neighbors who practice all night.
