hope eveyone is enjoying the long weekend, if you do indeed have the days off that is. 
so, Friday Kim and I went out. it was fun. we went bowling (her suggestion) and it was fun, i hadnt bowled in years since i was on a league, but i'm not good or anything. after that we went out to eat. i asked where she wanted to go and she said it was my choice since she picked to go bowling. near my house is a stretch of road with a few restaurants on it, so i headed out that way. Olive Garden, Chilli's, Red Robin, Baker's Square, stuff like that. they were all pretty crowded (friday night) and we ended up at Red Robin. they have good burgers, and she isnt vegatarian or anything so it turned out to be a good place. during dinner at my house afterwards we talked about alot of stuff, mostly her job. she's a student teacher and after one week it isnt going like she planned and she is questioning her choice of profession. i wont go into all the details, but i just tried to be supportive and tell her that it would get better, since its only been one week (actually 4 days) and the kids should settle down soon. cuz i can just see it, monday, first day of school, you know nothing is getting done, tuesday and wednesday theyre still settling in, and thursday was picture day and friday they were off, so once things get back to normal i think it should be better. i dont know. but anyway it all went well, i plan to call her today maybe we'll do something, i dont know. when i talked to her during the week we were either going to do something friday or sunday, so i dont think either of us has anything planned. so i hope i get to talk to her today, and it would be even better if i could see her. so we'll see.
as for saturday, i went to the Michigan football game. the end result was good as Michigan beat Miami (ohio) 43-10. but it was a little scary at first, the QB who was supposed to be the starter this year is hurt apparently and at kinda the last minute we found out that they would be starting a true freshman at QB. now this guy has a lot of hype behind him, but you know its gonna be rough with a guy who's never played a game in college yet. but he settled down and played pretty well and they won. next week at notre dame we'll see what happens, i'm worried. it was also extremely hot and humid at the game, but we all survived.
ok, i think thats about it for now. maybe i'll update later or tomorrow if i have anything new or exciting to say.

I went bowling with the SGSeattle group tonight. Very nice people - even nicer that they did not comment on my bowling ability.
Hope everything is still going well - continue to keep us posted.
Are you ready for football to start? I've still got some stuff to do for my teams, but I'm getting there. I think my SG team is the best (of my teams), but it's a pass heavy league and I'm a RB kinda guy.... Should be interesting at least.
