**update** at the bottom...

ok, just a little update for everyone, since i seem to have a cheering section. and it is appreciated.

my friend emailed me from his honeymoon and i now have a home number, cell number and email address. i'm gonna wait a little while to call, just to make sure she's home from work and stuff, but i will call tonight and i will call the cell so i should get an answer, if not, a voicemail will be left. i did email her though (yes, the coward's way out) but i just wanted to let her now i hadnt forgotten about her and just got all the contact info today. so hopefully i'll get a response to that. i did ask if there was a good time to call her, so we'll see what happens. but progress is being made.

**update**

heard back from her via my email and then made the call, and things went well. i didnt get a date or anything, but i think i will. she is a teacher, really a rookie teacher, and her first week of school is next week, so she is quite busy and stressed. after things settle down we should have more time to hang out. only real problem was our phones, they kept cutting out and i could hardly understand her sometimes. it was cell to cell and she was in her basement, so maybe that was part of the problem. i'm starting to wish i had a land line now. or maybe it was on her end, who knows. but i've got the number and email so its all good. only thing about the email though.... she's an english teacher, and have you noticed how well i capitalize and punctuate and spell? when she wrote me back it was all perfect with paragraphs and everything. it was kinda cute actually, i just hope i'm not being graded on my email skills.
