well its been a couple days, but i'm back and things are pretty good. the wedding went well, it was a really good time, fun was had by all.
we had the rehersal on thursday, did a coulple run thrus, thought we knew what was going on, then the priest showed up and changed everything, so we were totally lost. then when it came time for the actual wedding we were still a little confused, and there were some parts we didnt practice for, but it all worked out. nobody tripped or passed out or tried to run, so it was all good.
the reception was a lot of fun, which i was sure it would be for most people, but being the wallflower that i am i thought i might have a rough time, but it wasnt bad. i knew alot of people there, it was my friend Robert's wedding and he has a pretty big family and i know many of them, so there was pretty much always someone to talk to or hang with.
in case anyone was wondering, i didnt have anything to drink, unless you count the few sips of champagne for the toast, but i'm not gonna say that counts. i didnt do a whole lot of dancing either, at first. i had to dance with the bride's cousin, who i stood up with and for most of the night that was it. except when we played the U of Michigan fight song and we sang along and then all jumped around like crazy at the end. pretty much everyone there was a BIG Michigan fan, so that was fun.
so then near the end of the night i was sitting and talking to Pat, another guy who stood up, he was HAMMERED, actually hammered barely describes it, but he was like super drunk. anyway, i'm sitting there and this guy comes up, one of the uncles, and tells me he's got a girl who wants to dance with me. i was shocked. then i find out that its my friends cousin, who i had seen a few months ago at his grandpa's funeral and i thought she was cute
, so this was pretty cool. so we danced (if you can call what i did dancing
) i'm like the worlds worst dancer, slow dances i can handle, but anything else, its trouble. anyway, we danced and it was fun, and we talked a little, she's really nice, and then i'm such a retard cuz she was saying how she had to go and then asked if i wanted her number, i wanted to ask, but wasnt sure if i should or whatever, i'm just so bad at this kind of stuff. but regardless of how, i did get the number. or i will, cuz we couldnt find a pen or paper, but its my friend cousin, so i know where to get it. but after she left, my friends brother and sister and his mom and his wife were asking me if i liked her and telling me how great she is, so for the first time in a while i have a little something to look forward to. how bout that?
