Monthly Assignment Rules:
1) Assignments run for 4 weeks from the original post. Upload as many submissions to each assignment as you'd like in the Photoset section.
2)If you are the first to post a submission to a particular assignment use the name of the assignment as the title. Other's post your pictures in the same photoset so that there is no confusion as to what assignment it belongs to. Photos should follow the SG Images Guidelines in the FAQ section, however I would also like to suggest a maximum dimension of 400px on the longest side.
3) You are free to interpret each assignment as you see fit. Upload any photos you feel are appropriate to the task.
4) Try to post photos taken no longer than 3 weeks prior to the assignment post OR take photos specifically for that particular assignment... this is not however strictly enforced, feel free to post what photos you wish.
5) If you post, expect to get critiqued. Also, please feel free to critique other submissions. When doing so please list it under the original Assignment Topic. Include the photographer's handle, the picture number, and the picture's title.
6) Be honest in your critique, and more importantly constructive. If you like something say so and say why, conversely if you don't like something, or think it needs improvement, say so as well but also give suggestions on how to make it better.
7) Do as many or as few assignments as you'd like. Don't complain that there are too many or too few. Also don't complain about the subject of the assignments. They are taken from other sites as an exercise, it is meant to stretch your creativity, and push your skills as a photographer. If you don't like a particular assignment -- don't do it.
