Nolan_Void sure did post a lot in the group. He will definitely be missed. I just hope that the Fascism thread in my group wasn't a major reason for him leaving.

The funny thing about these matters is that oftentimes members will come back to SG after leaving for an indefinite period of time. Perhaps he will come back, too.

I'm not sure what to think of the Griffey trade. He's still an ok hitter, with a decent amount of power left, but I'm not sure if he's even that much of an improvement over Swisher in center-field. The .240ish batting average isn't exactly something to brag about either. But who knows, maybe he'll make actually make a difference in the last two months of the regular season, and in the playoffs.

BTW: anyone who is familiar with Rochester gets bonus points in my book.

I actually took that pic this moring before I left for clinical. I just wanted to curl back up with him and sleep some more. It hard leaving while you kid is still asleep. But I thought that it sucked when I had to wake him and scoot him out of the house. I guess it just sucks when you really want to be with your kid and you absolutely have to be somewhere else.

Anyways, I'm always up for debate if its something I know about and care about. My liberal friends sometimes seem to think I'm a closet republican while my fellow Marines all think I'm a crazy liberal wacko (being from san francisco doesn't help). I just can't win.

Hey, thanks. Sometimes it helps just knowing someone's reading. Yeah, my girl's doing a bit better now; as I'd hoped, actually getting settled here in Baltimore has helped. She's also about to start on this anxiety program thing that had helped her before, so I'm cautiously optimistic.

And I can't help you with the computer thing. When I was in middle school the computer lab computers would get all screwy when I entered the room... I'm not even exagerrating.

Thanks for your good will and wishes. Last night I was just kind of in a torrent of emotion and I had to let it all expel itself. Today the situation is either the same or worse, but my internal condition is much much better. And it never hurts to have good friends like you who I know are listening out there, so thanks again.

You are gonna lso love having a new computer. My old one sucked and I kept it for way to long. New computers make life easier.

Congrats on your Sox winning the first two. Yesterday was a blowout but todays game was close. I don't think they sweep... but anything can happen and at best or worst, depending how it's looked at, it's a draw with each team winning in their respective parks.

so very thankful for the sweep over the Cubs. now their fans cant say shit anymore and we can continue to enjoy this great season! now we just gotta get those Twins to lose a lot more! thankfully the Tigers and Twins will be playing 6 games soon, so its up to us to just keep winning!
