1. I used to play the saxaphone, drums and violin, all in that order. I started saxaphone lessons in fourth grade but didn't know how to read music, so I quit. I played the drums in fifth grade. I never played an actual drum until the night of our band recital, when I played a snare drum. Up until then I played a practice pad. My music teacher would doze off during my lessons, so I would end up doing a drum roll for twenty minutes sometimes. The violin was my favorite and I played it throughout junior high. My teacher was a really awesome guy.
2. Modulated voices creep me out. I think this stems from that scene in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" when Christopher Lloyd's voice gets super-high.
3. I had Scarlett Fever when I was a year old.
4. Other than the fact that I played the violin, I don't remember much of junior high. I remember that the cafeteria had really good curly fries and that the snack bar had Micky Mouse ice cream, but that's about it. My mother says it was a very difficult period for me, and I'll have to take her word for it.
5. I have tried all sorts of stuff to improve the condition of my skin with mixed success.
6. I was really androgynous throughout high school. Having boobies made me mad, so I squished them down with sports bras. Now I love my boobies!
7. I started wearing glasses in first grade and contacts in eighth. My first glasses had little pictures of Smurfette on the bows, right behind the ears.
8. I have a zombie dream at least once a month. There was a brief period in which I had a zombie dream almost every night. I firmly believe they are coming some day. GET READY MOTHERFUCKERS.
9. I was perpetually barefoot until I was about fifteen years old. I used to be able to walk on broken glass because my feet were so tough and leathery.
10. I have been eating Botan Ame Rice Candy for as long as I can remember. It's good stuff.
11. Baby pictures of my youngest brother and I are almost identical. Watching him grow up has been fun, because now I know what I would've looked like if I had been a boy! Very tall, apparently.
12. I am currently planning two large tattoos based on books I used to read as a child.
13. I used to watch The Yellow Submarine all of the time when I was a kid. My parents had a bootleg copy that my younger brother and I wore out.
14. I just spent five minutes on IMDb trying to figure out if the guy who voiced the Chief Blue Meanie from Yellow Submarine and the guy who voiced The Gromble in Aaaah! Real Monsters are the same person. They are not.
15. I am thinking about writing a screenplay.
16. Growing up, I wasn't allowed to have clothing or jewelry with my name on it because my mother thought people would see my name and "pretend they knew me" in order to kidnap me. My mother is insane.
17. When my younger brother and I would play RPGs (especially Final Fantasy titles) I would read the dialouge aloud while he played.
18. I am really sensitive to the textures of foods. There are some foods I like the taste of but won't eat because the texture bothers me.
19. I have never had sex with another girl, but I would like to some day.
20. The Burger King scares me. I wish he would go away.

i was so worried about the hip tattoos. i had heard they were going to hurt a great deal, but they were so easy. i could have napped if the chair wasn't so uncomfortable.
i can't wait to have both sides completed.
