So today I got home from class and laid down on the couch and slept for four hours. I am the laziest person there ever was.
Thanks to everyone who commented in my last journal entry! I tried to leave responses in other people's journals. If I didn't get to you, it's nothing personal. I've just been busy. (HA! The first time I typed that...

Okay, I've already changed this entry twice, because I can't quite believe it. Even when Erin asked "what do you want your SG name to be?" I thought "you know, I won't get my hopes up until I see it, just in case...."
This is going to make work so much more bearable today.
Because today, I slave at Wal-Mart as a FUCKING SUICIDE GIRL....

unfucking believeable, annie/wren! congrats to you!

congratulations!!!
Last night I got home from work, ate dinner (scrambled eggs and an English muffin! Breakfasty!), took a shower, and passed the fuck out. I was TIRED. I fell asleep at one in the morning, which for me is early to the point of wondering if I was sick or something without realizing it. I woke up again at around five in the morning...

Wow, girl! Congrats on going PINK!!
I should be in bed. But I slept until six at night yesterday and now I'm wide awake. Shit, this sucks. I wanted to get up at a decent hour tomorrow, but it's not going to happen. I'll wake up five minutes before I have to start getting ready for work, just like I have been the past month or so.

we had TONS of fun
This is me playing Fatal Frame 2.
devilducky and I have been playing this cooperativly (yeah, I finally had to cave and hand over the controller because my hands were shaking too badly at one point to play any more), and that BASTARD beat it today without me.
But because he has been playing video games longer than I have, he at least knew to...

i've been using two words with some frequency: sweet and marvy.
"hey, scott. how are ya?
"just marvy."
"ooo, look at the cool thing i bought."
"sweeeet!"
how is it that i've gotten this far in life without having experienced a psychotropic like mushrooms? i'm sort of envying you at the moment, annie.

yo gurl, when we all gonna chill?
I will warn everyone ahead of time: This journal entry is entirely about a video game.
Tonight I rented Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly and hung out with devilducky. He has a PS2, and I have a Blockbuster card with no fines. Together we are an unstoppable video-game-renting force.
The game ROCKS MY FACE. I can't wait to play more of it, but at...

I don't play video games anymore, gave them up.
For me they're more addictive than drugs, and worse really because they're less expensive, and seemingly harmless.

For some reason, photography video games beat down the walls of awesome. I remember when Pokemon snap came out. I fucking hated those adorable critters, but that game had me by the balls. Not only did I jack it from my little brother after he rented it, I actually went to Blockbuster to check the strategy guide to find which ones I was missing. Fatal Frame 2 looks wicked.
I must humbly apologize for yesterday's shitty journal entry.
I'm tired of writing entries that are nothing but bitching, mostly because they make me sound depressed. And I'm not depressed - not really - I'm just very angry and I'm still not sure why.
I might be doing mushrooms next week. I'm psyched. I haven't done mushrooms in a while, and every time I've done...

Shrooms can indeed be an eye-opening experience.
The last time I did them (long ago) was extraordinary... I was walking through the streets of Boston on a beautiful day in May, still etched in my mind. But the most extraordinary part were people's faces: I felt that I could see into everyone's soul, and their faces morphed to match their character. I still remember one elderly woman, with this amazingly wrinkled face, and every wrinkle told a story. I must have passed hundreds of people... each a struggle to pull myself away from (and avoid staring) and move on to the next. (Lord knows what they thought of me!)
That night was bizarre. I was asleep and gradually became aware of a gathering malevolence. I woke (or so I thought) but this dark force seemed to be sucking MY soul from my body. I don't know how to describe the overwhelming evilness of this force... I fought hard, and then, just as I thought I was lost, a woman, a female shaman appeared and dispersed the darkness. I found myself on a rolling treeless plain; she introduced me to a horde of people, seeming nomads, and then sent me on my way over the hills. After walking till darkness, I went to sleep, and awoke... changed.
I've not done mushrooms since.

I just accidentally erased the whole entry I was writing.
So let me summarize what I said:
I'm poor, I hate my job more than anything, and I have a cold sore so I feel disgusting.
TODAY IS A WONDERFUL HAPPY DAY.
Evidenced by the FREEZING GODDAMN RAIN OUTSIDE. I almost fell and busted my ass outside of my apartment.
Stuff sucks.

Seriously...what is up with that ice rain? It made last night kind of fun. I wanted to play hockey in the middle of University Ave...but nobody else was having it.

I have two things to say:
1. Amazon.com sucks ass.
2. None of their tech support people seem to live in the United States. Wierd.
Also, I went to my Weather and Climate class for the first time yesterday. Our teacher looks like Toby Maguire. I forsee many radioactive spider jokes throughout the semester.
I also must report that one of the kids in that...

Ilove your sculptures you're really talented!
I watched Mullholland Drive last night. What a wierd movie. I'm still not sure I totally understand it - so it kind of pissed me off, like being back in Philosophy 101 with my crappy-ass teacher.
I liked it, though. Mullholland Drive, not Philsophy 101.
This has been a long week already and it's hardly started. School is back in session - it started Monday...

Congrats on the commish! That's awesome. I haven't really had one in a while. Justthe battery costume thing, which I'd be paid on an hourly basis at work. And there are a few cartoony murals I have to do, but I'm not charging shit for them.
I had creative writing in college to, and like yourself, to my surprise-the 'creative' aspect was almost completely avoided and very structurized. That's why I loved my art studio classes, especially towards the end-no strict guidelines.

Whatever else I have to say about Mullholland Drive, I know for a fact that the lesbian scene is hot enough to make the girls I know want to sleep with me after seeing it. The power that tape wields is a power no thing not wearing a sweet medallion should have.
Everyone on the internet likes my haircut. What the hell is wrong with the people I work with?!
I took out my nipple piercings last night to give my boobies a break - possibly permenantly - from my jewelry. I tried to put the barbells back in today, about fifteen minutes ago, and the holes are already closed.
C'est la vie.
I have to cashier...

I love your new haircut. And forgive me for saying this, as I'm sure you've already heard it, but it reminds me of Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction-which is hot ofcourse. And yes, your nipples look quite happy.

if its any consolation, i prefer boobies w/ out holes in them...and sweet tats, youre a hottie!
I got a haircut last night.
Haven't heard anything back from Dean, which is pretty dissapointing. Today is pretty much the two-week deadline, so I guess I'm not getting the job.
Which means I have to apply for a couple more jobs with them. And hopefully I'll get something before I've been in school for too long, so I can drop without losing any money....
