What a terrible start to my holidays. Didn't sleep well overnight then, when I played a game I hadn't played before, one of its features? effects? gave me a splitting headache and nausea to boot by 10AM. I laid in bed till 3PM afterwards then got up and watched the first three episodes of "The Witcher" because I was still recovering.

I've spent weeks building...

So over the last three weeks I have bought 9 games, with the exception of one all cost less than $20. One was a disappointment (Atlas) which was ok to play, sucked graphics wise. Five were Spacecraft games. most were early access. One of those spacecraft games I have played 30 hours already, one 15 minutes and the other three not at all. Of the...

Monday was a nice day, at the start it looked as though it was going to be overcast but the sun broke out of the clouds before I reached Davenport (where I went to visit). Tuesday, it rained all day so I stayed inside and played games. Wednesday, it rained hard and was windy so I played some games and watched all of Season One...

I've taken a one week Staycation, mostly because I haven't taken any leave since I arrived in Auckland a yeear and a half ago, but also because I need to move a fridge out of temporary storage into permanent storage :). Yes, that's right, I need to move a fridge and decided to take a week off ;). I don't know what I'm going to...

Still enjoying it. They've done a bang up job of translating the novel so far. I must say that if I hadn't read the book I'd be a little lost as to where it's coming from, where it is and where it's going.

Work has been straight forward. Went on a one-day communications course. Filled out a leadership profile for it. It placed me as...

Weighed myself for the first time in a couple of months. Last time I was 86+ now I'm 83+. I think it's because I reduced my evening meals a couple of months ago by a quarter, which worked. The fact that I carry a heavy laptop to and from work and very heavy groceries homes probably helps too :).

So I've been working on Ribbons and Toolbars for the CAD system of the secondment. One need was for the capability to switch between thesystems of the Home Companies and the Joint Venture. I gave up yesterday but was looking into alternatives when I found the perfect code to achieve the need late this morningand I got it into the system and working by mid-afternoon....

Both DLC's and pretty much every quest, Blood and Wine was spectacular. Will go back to Conan Exiles but I'm considering having another crack at Pillar of Eternity or finishing Pathfinder:Kingmaker or Divinity:OS. Had a new desk delivered today which I've put the desktop computer on using the old computer table for the Laptop. Bought leg thermals, socks and two shirts plus a medium weight...

So it appears I'm good at herding cats, though obviously it's more likely they weren't cats after all :). The issues for which I was seconded are under control at the place I was seconded to.

One of my friends invited me onto a Private Server for Conan:Exiles and I've been playing it in the mornings. Still working away at Witcher3 Blood and Wine. Developing...

So I finished the Hearts of Stone DLC for Witcher 3 yesterday. I might have finished it sooner but I spent four hours of dying over several days dying an average of every five minutes in a single fight ("Iris' Greatest Fear"). The win in that battle came as a surprise. I've started the Blood and Wine DLC and the landscape in it is soooo...
