I post here so very rarely. More often than LJ but less often than FB or G+. Anyway I'm starting to wonder if anyone else only spends enough time to study the face in the pictures of the Set of the Day. I won't even bother to look at the set if the face is the top entry picture is clear and unobscured, I starting...

Hmmm.... the previous version of this site had a system for marking your favourite photo sets, today I thought that was the "following" but it isn't and looking carefully I realise they may have gotten rid of it.
I've been fiddling about trying to work out how this new system works for minutes :) FWP. Puzzlingly, I was sure I'd posted stuff here between 2010 and now, but my memory is bad, so maybe I haven't. Even if I did, it would have been sporadic, which probably says far too much about my state of mind ;).
.... and then, of course, there is television. From "Modern Family" there's the comment "I know it hurts, hon, but that's how you know that it was a relationship worth having." *sigh* Of course, I don't feel any hurt from my last relationship, only disappointment....
Every so often, when reading, I come across a sentence/paragraph that strikes me as a truism and possibly a concise description of something. In the book "Magic Bleeds" by Ilona Andrews I read this "'A real broken heart never goes away. You can pull yourself together and you can function, but it's not the same." No, it's never the same, and sometimes, memories, regrets and...

I was in Adelaide only a few weeks ago - how long are you going to be there for? You really need some local knowledge to discover the real Adelaide..or you would run out of things to do real quick

Nah I was only there to do a job. I didn't have any interest in looking around. The .... scenery .... was rather nice though, they're more inclined towards heels in Adelaide, Perth is more inclined towards thongs/sandshoes. I spent my time off-work reading or playing Civilization 4
Watched "Equilibrium" and "The Usual Suspects" again, tonight. Awesome Movies....
It's strange, because my car is finally in at the Panel Beaters for repairs due to the "Great March Hailstorm 2010" of Perth I'm using Public Transport again. That's not what's strange, what's strange is that the world is so different when you've got to stand around outside waiting in clear but cold weather when the sun is rising/setting. The PT means I take between...

Over 5 years ago I had an operation to replace my aortic valve with a metal one. It makes a clicking noise, quite noticeable when it is quiet. The problem was caused by a birth defect apparently. As a result I've been on 3 medications for it, one of which is used for rat poison. In addition, I am taking medication for high cholesterol. The...

Why should I blog here?
I joined SG out of whimsy, after all I've known of it for a long time I just couldn't be bothered. I do miss GGOTW though. I'm not here to get friends merely to be JAFO. I have other places to comment like FB and LJ :.
