I've never had a problem with UPS before, and I've bought a crapton of stuff from Amazon and other places. But the one time I buy a one of a kind item, omg it's like nothing would go right with them. The problem of too impersonal and too much automation. It was already in my city but I couldn't get anyone that would stop it from being sent back. They told me the sender would have to do it and would wait for confirmation from the sender, but so did not happen. They were like, oh you can just get your money back. So not the point =( All worked out in the end, but damn, I am wary of them now. That sucks about your friend's tv. Hope insurance covered it =(
I did have a few great moments, so I am happy in that regard. Overall, well, just trying to think of the positive. I think we get a little conditioned sometimes to look at the bad side, like all the news stations talk about is things that go bad. But I just thought of that now!
Looking back on how things have gone can be rough. Hope you find some happy moments to focus on and some good news starts happening!
