So, as you well know by now, I started an Instagram page to start promoting my novel (I'd appreciate any follows and sharing of the account, by the way). Well, yesterday I got a random follower. Up to this point, it's been people I know, people they know, or the usual bot/porn accounts. But this one was different. They aren't in any of the usual groups.
What does that mean? Simply put, I finally got my first follower from the wild. Somebody who saw one of my posts and was interested enough in my story to follow me. Once I finally realized that, I found myself grinning like an idiot.
It's a small start, but it's a definite start.

@bradmax As long as it's going to take to get a big enough following, I kind of wish I had started sooner. I still have a bit of work to do on this one myself.
