Thinking about what the story is about, the world building that I did, and the characters I created... I finally came up with a title.
It's set on a post-apocalyptic Earth, where most of humanity has left the planet. It follows the descendants of humanity who stayed behind for various reasons. And it's actually somewhat descriptive of the protagonists, and a few other characters.
I think I'm going to go with 'The Ones Left Behind' as the title of this story.
Now I have to decide if I'm going to try to find a literary agent to try to publish the traditional route, or if I'm going to self publish. I'm leaning towards the latter, even though it probably means a lot more work for me in the long run.
