Things are getting strange again. Major things first. Yesterday my friend and I were in front of my house smoking. We were sitting in the car for music and relief from the wind. Out of nowhere he suddenly asks if I saw anyone around cause he saw a shadow moving across the neighbor's house. I looked around, saw nothing. A little while later, my paranoia had me watching the area around us through the car's mirrors, I saw a black shape run by in the rear view mirror. I immediately looked in the direction it ran but there was nothing there. Next, today, I was looking for something in the kitchen, no one else was awake. As I was digging through the fridge I heard this distant whispering, it sounded like a bunch of voices talking at once. I looked up, looked around, nothing was there and the sound did not repeat itself. That happened about an hour ago. And for the last week or two I've just gotten these random uneasy feelings, like someone is in the room with me, something watching me, even though no one is there.
Not the first time stuff like this has happened, but it's been quiet for a couple years now. Could be interesting to see where it goes this time around.
Now, seeing as I'm only 100 pages into a 460 page book, time to get back to work.

Martin Freeman was being interviewed in the run up to the British release of The Hobbit and he revealed that they'd made 2 films and were having a big wrap party because they'd thought they were finished. They were told at that party that they were making 3 films, so they'd have to return for more filming.
This was the major thing that pissed me off, because the book's less than 300 pages - clearly not enough material for 3 films, even if they copied the book word for word, They're including bits from The Silmarillion to flesh out the story a bit (hence Galadriel's presence).
Clearly they're trying to tie it in to LOTR as much as possible - this was evident from the intro with old Bilbo talking to Frodo on the morning of Bilbo's EleventyFirst birthday.
I even read that Orlando Bloom was reprising his role from LOTR - WTF? Legolas had nothing to do with the events of The Hobbit - unless they include him in the Battle of Five Armies or something...
