So today was interesting. I went airsofting with some friends for the first time. And while I only managed 3 kills the whole day, I apparently made my buddy extremely dangerous by keeping him well covered while he sniped people. I'd consider doing it again in the fall or winter, but never again in the summer, too damn hot.

Anyway, I'm going to go ahead...

It seems that all I needed was a two hour nap and a lazy afternoon, and I'm back to my happy self. Damn you, work!

So just a quick question for the two people who actually read this from time to time. I just wrote a little three page story that randomly popped into my head the other night. Would anyone be interested in reading it and giving a bit of feedback? If so I might just put it up in a blog. I can say this about it, my...

I seriously need to stop reading before bed. It always starts with me saying I'm just going to finish this chapter then go to sleep and ends with me still up at almost eight in the morning cause I couldn't put the damn book down. I ran out of Dresden books so I moved on to others. Finished Some Danger Involved, the first in a...

I can so relate to the "I'll just finish this chapter." mentality.
I'm a huge fan of the Sherlock Holmes books, so the Bee Keeper's Apprentice sounds interesting.
We were running out of space with all the books I was getting through, then I got a kindle, problem solved...
Thanks for the comment too, I can relate to that as well. I went through a phase of getting upset whenever a movie had a father-son storyline, as this was before I'd managed to get back in contact with my dad.

thanks for the lovely wishes sexy!!! kisses

I really hate my brother right now. We were at the bar tonight, there was this chick who was obviously into him, staring at him all night, and apparently last time he was there she did everything but tell him to fuck her. So does he do anything about it? Of course not. I spent the whole night trying to at least get him to...

Damn, that shag would've done him the world of good. Unfortunately, it sounds like he'll need a whole lot more than a willing lady to get over his issues.

And no, you are definitely not ugly, mister! *smack on the head*

Well that was fucked up... So I was just about to go to sleep when suddenly my cat starts going crazy attacking a pile of my clothes. I look, see nothing, ignore him. But he keeps at it so I get up and turn on the light. I eventually find a giant bug of some sort, and as I try to get Pilz-e to attack...

Oh man, you should've taken a photo before you introduced it to your boot. And the machete. surreal
Lumo adores creepy crawlies and would've loved you forever (until she found out you killed it).

I really hope people will like the new set as much as I do, but we shall see. I think it's better than Ravenous, so hopefully it will do better.

I got it on steam, gooo steam =) Prolly works just as well on xbox, I just don't have one! And thanks. It is pretty awesome, and scary at the same time.

That is one creepy sounding bug. Good thing your cat defended you, right?!

I need to get back on the ball with things here. I haven't done any writing in a while. Instead I started watching anime and playing rpgs again, eating all of my time. Combine that with the occasional bout of depression and I don't get anything done anymore. At least there isn't any school work to be done this time. Though the lack of things...

So I have this 500gb external hard drive that a year or two ago the power cord went missing. My buddy was cleaning out his office and found a shit load of power cords that he let me try out on it. As luck would have it one of them worked, so I can finally use the damn thing again. I found 32 gb of...

My theory is that you found 32gb of music, 26gb of anime and 442gb of porn. Am I right, or am I right?!

Games I have no problems with. I'll choose a female character if there's one available, but I'll go with a male if I have to. Assassin's Creed for example, I love all of them. I think I identify myself more with book characters, and thus enjoy good books more. Hard to imagine myself as a man, though. confused

Insomnia's a bitch. Really want sleep. Hate the world.

I'm starting to look like a raccoon with these bags under my eyes...

If it makes you feel any better I look like a racoon at least once a day (due to runny makeup and humidity)...

I think I never got into Dresden because the main character is a man, and I tend to identify myself with whatever female character. That might be why I can't connect with the dude himself, and never got into it. It's lame, and I really need to rectify that.

A freaking great vid for Borderlands fans.

And damn, that's basically the way I interact with women too... Inner monologue tries to help me out, I end up saying nonsense. Sigh.

Finished the second Dresden novel last night. I think it's safe to say I'm addicted now. I read 200-300 pages of it in one sitting, finished the damn thing at 6 in the morning...

Something scared the crap out my cat right now. I was the only one home, the dog was asleep so she missed whatever happened. All I know is that he (the cat) came running from the door. His ears were back he was hunched down, and his tail was between his legs. Something scared him pretty bad. He sat by me for a while staring...

That sounds very creepy indeed, cats can always see things that we mere mortals can't see.

Well this is kind of depressing. I spent the whole day in bed, and didn't miss a single phone call or text. I could be dead right now and no one in my life would know, or care. A little melodramatic yes, but still, it's pretty sad when you look at it that way.

On a lighter note, they released our grades today. And I...

Boring boring boring... I'm going to be pretty boring now. No car, no more school until next semester, nothing much to do or talk about these days. Oh well. On the other hand, for the first time in at least a year or two I've been able to read a book purely for my own enjoyment, which is awesome. Just about to finish Storm Front,...

Damn, I still have to give Dresden another try. I just can't get into it for some reason, I've tried twice already. surreal

How about you train your cat in the meantime. He's already a skilled assassin, so you could be his sidekick or something.

I've just started watching the second season of Lost Girl, and it's still pretty amusing. But then I do enjoy sex scenes, and I'm obsessed with Kenzi's clothes, so that might explain a thing or two.
I haven't come across many good steampunk books, but I really enjoyed 'Iron Duke' by Meljean Brook. Don't be fooled by the cheesy cover, it has an interesting storyline and it's set in a cool alternative history kind of world. I'll let you know if I think of anything else.
