Well, today's the 4th of July. Time for much drinking, eating, and blowing up of stuff. I hope everyone does plenty of that. Cause it's the one day out of the year that blowing shit up is legal...unless you're in the military.

Speaking of which, a few days ago, a buddy of mine was killed over in Iraq when his humvee was blown up. The viewing/funeral is on Tuesday. I already went to the family and offered my condolences. It was a sad day indeed. Made me realize how shitty the war really is, and how pointless it's become now. The troops should have been out of there months ago. I can truely feel for the familes. I have two nephews in the military (one in the army, one in the navy), and it'd break my family if anything happened to them.

Tomorrow I leave for Maryland. I'm spending two weeks down there to help my older sister finish building the house that her and my brother in law just purchased. Hopefully, in the meantime, I'll get some callbacks for work.

I got a phone call today from one of my fellow ex-co-workers, and he informed me that he spoke to someone in the home office, and they informed him that we were fired for theft. Well, I called the guy up today, and told him that I wanted to find out why I was fired. God forbid it comes back to me that they fired us for theft. Can we say lawsuit? They won't know what hit them. They were trying hard as hell to get us fired for theft, and they couldn't, because none of us were taking anything, well, except for the one girl. Anyway, I'm gonna hear back from this guy in the next couple days. And if he informs me that theft was the reason given, then they'll be hearing from my lawyer.

It'd be nice to take them to court and sue the pants off of them. Instant funding for my comic company.

Anyway...I'm out. Much drinking and packing to be had. Talk to ya'll from MD.
