Food and bands start promptly at 4pm.
This is it! The official Astromonkey BBQ IV kicks off in just a few hours. The weather looks like it's going to be on our side, which is a good thing since it poured last night. It may be a little soggy, but that's not gonna stop us. With a great line-up of bands, the food, and the beer, and some special appearances by The Minks and maybe even The Young Werewolves if their schedule permits. It's gonna be fucking killer.
Not to mention that today kicks off the official release of the Astromonkey Comic book! The first, special edition ashcan goes up for grabs today. The first one hundred party goers to show up get an issue (signed by the creative team: Ian, Me, Brad and Nick), free with a $5 donation.
All in all, it's gonna be a killer day. I'm not sure if I'll be able to walk tomorrow, but hot damn am I gonna have fun tonight.
