Yep, still pushing the BBQ. It's happening in just 3 days, and it's gonna be a fucking blast. We'll be selling off the official Astromonkey comic, written by yours truely. It's gonna be sweet.
In a rather shitty turn of events, I got suspended from work. It's pretty fucked up actually. Loss prevention was in the store, and I swear to god they're hell bent on getting me for theft. One small problem with that...I'M NOT A FUCKING THEIF! We sat down, and she talked and talked during our little "interrogation" as I like to call it, and got nothing out of me, simply for the fact that there was nothing to be had. Others were stealing, but I didn't know about it. So, since they're die hard on getting rid of the original crew from when I started (there were seven of us, now there's only 2), they suspended me, AND the other supervisor for violating company policy. In reality, it's bullshit that I should have just been written up for. They say they follow that three strikes your our rule, but to my recolection, this isn't my third strike.
LP was supposed to send their reports to the District Manager today, and he was supposed to review them. I'm gonna call him around 4:30 or so and see what the fuck is going on. It's bullshit if ya ask me.
Anyway, after I left work early (cause of the suspension), I headed to Friday's to do some writing. I managed to pump out most of issue 9 for Final Haven II, which relieved a lot of stress. The guys I'm doing the comic with showed up around 7pm, and we flushed out all of the problems still remaining with the book. It's thursday now, and we print tomorrow. CRUNCH TIME!
Ugh. Sometimes I hate life, and sometimes I want to strangle the fuck out of it. Today is a cross between the two.
