Well, the official deadline for the second comic I'm writing (Astromonkey) has been set for June 25th. A bunch of Ashcan (miniature comics) are being printed up, and we're selling them at the BBQ this year. We're getting 100 made, and they'll be signed by the artist (Ian Bates), and myself. Never thought I'd be able to say that I wrote an exclusive comic book. It's pretty cool.
Most of the concept art is done up so far, and I've been adding text to the pages here and there. It's a little tough writing it, since this idea was spur of the moment. Normally I have stuff written out first, and the artist bases their work around that. We're doing it in reverse this time, and it's tough. Good learning expirence though.
