The Trojan War only lasted sixteen days?
jiji888,/;llbnm ,njmmnhj;ollm,
that is me wiping sugar and cinnamon off my keyboard...
surreal
pixilated101:
I put sunscreen on for my bike ride...the next day I helped build a deck durning which I put on none...

why you eating cinnamon and sugar at you keyboard????

16 days...really?...not much of a war...maybe we should call it the Trojan Conflict... biggrin

Ugh...

Today was my first shift in ten days. Back in the store I said I would not working in again. I suck! I need to be more decisive, but all my well thought out diatribes vanish when actually confronted with an actually social situation.
I need to find a means of productivity which involves a minimal amount of social interaction. Become a forest ranger?...

I have seen Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. But I think that erasing doesn't really solve the problems, you know? It's something I've really got to learn.

So that Reese's page didn't tell me anything about the addictive chemicals they put into them. I know they have to be doing something. No candy bar should be that delicious.

You could be a file clerk or something, work in a little room in the back all alone. You'd never have to talk to anyone. I've always thought I would do well in a file room.

I'm back...

How confusing--I forgot my alias and username were different, but I did discover that if you buy yourself a gift account you can use a credit card for the year purchase. whatever

Just back into town today. I was in BC for a week. Vacationing by yourself sucks. Need to find a navigator.

I did sign up for IM Canada for next year. It...

that's awesome! good luck with it.

in the meantime, drop me an email if you're interested. you can keep me abreast of how training is going. (kellee21@hotmail.com)

I usually intake gels every 5 miles for the first 50 miles or so after that they seem to make me sick at my stomach...I tried switching gels, with some luck, but still cannot eat them the whole ride... I do drink Gatorade...I don't really bonk at 50 miles, that is just the point where I first start wishing (really hard) that the ride was over

yea taper starts in about 3 weeks...I have one more long bike(100miles)...one long run(20miles)...and one long BRick(70/14mile) left until the big race...

I'm more or less sure that I'm ready...even once I get tired on my long workouts, I just keep going...which hopefully means I ready mentally which I think is the bigger issue...even if I'm a little off physically, my mind will pull my dying body to the finish...

I think the biggest thing that beat me down on my BRick was the heat...it seems to be the biggest factor in my workouts...if it is hot, I'm sucking....the race should be under cooler weather...

yea I go to one SG event and then the next thing you know I have like 6 or so friend requests...

I am ready....still a little scared...

real goals based on my long training runs and bikes:

swim - 1:40 bike - 7:10 run - 4:45 t1 and t2 - 20 min

overall -13:37
pixilated101:
so I did a 60/12 mile BRick today

bike took 4hrs 20sec, wind 4MPH, about 83F I felt good until about the 50 mile mark...I did a 90 miler a few weeks back and had a faster MPH with 8MPH wind and a lot cooler 69F....but on both bikes I felt tired about the 50 mile mark...

run took 2hrs 13min 10sec...I ran until mile 7...then I would walk 1/4 and run the other 3/4...I walked the last mile in 20 min...I drank 24 oz of fluid on the first 11 miles...and on the last mile I drank 24oz of water...I flet like I was going to puke...too much water, too fast???..

when I got done I felt like shit...but now about 2hrs later I'm feeling a little better...

Any thoughts...I'm I ready?...

Oh yea I got a little saucy the night before...that may have had an effect... frown

Do evil thoughts make an evil person? Or is it just a beginning?

pixilated101:
I hope not...if so then all that effort that I put forth to control my evil urges is wasted...if you are going to be evil for thoughts alone then you may as well get the satisfaction of doing the deed... wink

A similar ? could be...

who are we really...the one that everybody sees, our actions...or the one that no one but we see, our thoughts?

Action makes evil...

It is my grandfathers birthday today. he is...seventy-three. Had to do the math--which is what I have been reduced to to figure out my own age the last few years. Sometime around twenty-four birthdays started to loose all relevance. Now I usually only get gifts from my mother.

Anyway, it was my grandfather's birthday, and I did not go visit. I am starting to get...

Picked up my new mattress yesterday. It sits ten inches higher off the ground! shocked

Ever since I hit the ditch a month ago, my back has been aching when I wake up. I actually was sleeping on the day bed half the time-which was a slight improvement.

Eating vanilla breyer's ice cream and blueberrys at the moment. I gotta stop buying fruit from Costco--the pack...

smile Costco is a scary scary place man. everything is gigantic...more food than anyone would eat unless there were 10 people in the same house.
