If you are looking for a longish movie to watch, check out the made-for-tv mini series The 10th Kingdom. It stars John Laroquette (Night Court, Stripes) Kimberly Williams(Married to Brad Paisley) and Dianne Wiest(The Lost Boys). It starts on earth, then moves to the kingdom(world) where all the storybook legends happens(200 years ago). Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, etc. It's about 5 1/2 hours long, but it will suck you in. Give it a shot.
