My great-grandmother had a blue parakeet when I was a small child. When she passed (she was around 93), we got Feathers. Feathers was a pretty happy and adjusted bird, with a great appreciation of music. I still have cassette tapes of songs, that I liberated from the radio, where you can hear Feathers chirping along to the music. He would prance from side to side on his perch when he did this. I miss that guy.
