The girls were gorgeous, and never wore bras. It was love at first sight. I've seen episodes in more recent times and wondered, "Why did I like this show?" Then Chrissy and Janet start moving, and I remember. I was crushed when Suzanne Summers left the show. I really didn't care for either of her stand-ins. In the 80's, it was Victoria Principal. I was never huge on the show, Dallas, but I watched just to see her.
I can easily see how Andy Gibb would be so despondent after they split up. Also in the 80's, I discovered my dad's porn collection. Ginger Lynn and Traci Lords became the objects of my desire.
The revelation that Traci had been underage for almost her entire career nearly brought down the entire adult film industry. I think she only has one movie that's legal to watch in the US. I definitely had other actresses that I liked, but those were my two big ones.
Sussana Hoffs of The Bangles
was another celebrity crush of mine, along with Faith Hill
and Shania Twain.
I shudder to think of how many hours I spent on CMT trying to tape their videos. Totally worth it though.
