Its all about Balance
I was totally off balance today in my dance class. Physically and emotionally. I can't remember the last time I did something that made me so self-concious and tingly off balance. It highlights the fact that I am aware of how much I am an utter beginner in something for once. My huge brain likes to tell me that I am not really a beginner at anything anymore (yes I know uttter willful lie.) Its so different from the other kinds of movements I am used to - expansive when the others were the opposite. Up and out instead of sinking. It is really an exciting balance - and the teacher wore a scarf and adorable hat for a while at the start of class.
This beginner feeling is balanced by the odd fact that it looks like I will be within weeks teaching a group of high school students chemistry to get them ready to take first year college chem. next year. That and I am ending up running my fellowship's website group.
