Ok I've been thinking. Since I feel like I should post something and I've always had this urge to start a blog of some sort (which I have but still haven't used much http://beerpoliticsandmedia.blogspot.com/ ) but never have much to say, especially since I tend to put most of that effort into my research papers, I decided to just start putting my papers out there for people to read. I've got a bunch of them on my PC and most will never see any use besides getting read by my professor. Maybe on a level this is my own subconscious effort to try to get people to recognize my intellectual works I really don't think it is since I'm kinda self-conscious about most of my writing since when growing up I was mildly dyslexic and had a heck of a time learning to write, spell and use proper grammar and syntax. Even now you can probably tell its not exactly great. Anyway since my life is fairly boring and most of what I have to say or think about is already in papers I'm going to just post it here and my blog and some other places
This first one I'm posting is one that I wrote a while ago for my Western Studies class. One of the required readings was Prince by the political philosopher Nicholas Machiavelli. One of my favorite works not because I'm a fascist but just because of how well it's written and the impact it had on modern politics. We had to use his theories to discuss what we think he would say about a modern problem. Being a political science student I thought one that would be easy and that I liked was the Iraq war or rather the occupation of Iraq. For the record I don't plagerize and neither should you. I document my resources, usually in MLA format, and if your also a student and feel the need to quote me or use some of my resources please please please be sure to properly site and document your resources. Some of my work has gone to turnitin.com so you never know if you'll get busted.
