I just hit two deadlines for The Onion AV Club with three minutes to spare. I didn't know if I was going to do it, so I'm quite relieved that I got there on time.

Now I really need to get to work on my next book, Do You Want Kids With That?, which is nearing its final editiing stages . . . but it is SUCH a beautiful day out, I think I may blow off an hour or two to take my iPod for a walk through my neighborhood.

I'm excited for the NHL to get started, and I'm counting the days until Halloween.
