So Karl Rove is going around Congress, telling Republicans that if they break ranks with the White House (you know, by upholding their oath of office to defend the Constitution) and cast votes which could lead to hearings about warrantless domestic wiretapping and possible impeachment of the president, he'll ruin their chances of re-election.

George W. Bush is trying very hard to be a king or dictator, depending on how hysterical you are, but either choice is bad news for America. Even people who support him because he is a Republican (rather than support Democratic opposition to him, for whatever reason) should be worried about his attempts to place himself above the law, and cut Congress out of the governing process. Remember, people: Congress is our voice in the government. All three branches are supposed to be equal, and if
Congress is shut out by the Executive, we are no longer a Republic.

I hope congressional Republicans realize that these douchebags will be out of office in a few years (sooner, if there is any justice in the world) and tell Karl to go fuck himself.
