nothing like getting in trouble at work because the doctor didn't tell you he didn't want you to be at work

i got a white slip for " failure to notify" for showing up to work and turning in my hospital discharge papers. when the supervisor had a question about it he called my doctor who then told him i wasn't even suppoed to be there. so, they sent me home that day and now i have a write up in my file. heh good thing i'm a union steward. i'll have to call my doctor and explain that i was never told to NOT go to work and then start the grievance paperwork.
