I had a therapist who showed my a few techniques. Ive never really studied any one kind. Right now Im using a set scene to work my way in to a meditative state.
One of the breathing techniques he showed me was to think of your breath being a color. Kind of breathing in positive energy and exhaling negative energy/stress/anger/whatever. For me I imagine Im taking in blue and breathing out red. I sound like a new age freak, but it works for me.
