There are some people that when you meet them you know that you have met before.Something draws you to them for no sensible reason. Their souls seem to reach out to you, drawing you to them. After you talk to these souls you realize that you have never met another individual quite like them. You begin to make instant bonds, start making pacts that will ensure that you will always be there for each other.
This is how it was when I met my best friend Kat. She was and is the most inspiring person that I have had the privilege to know. Kat taught me things about myself that helped form me into the woman that I am today. Without her I would not be where I am right now, I would not have had the confidence to make some of the hardest decisions in my life. She was there for me during the last couple years which have been the hardest and most life changing for me.
Kat now lives along the East Coast while I unfortunately an living in the heart of the Midwest. We try and keep in touch as much as possible, but we both are living crazy busy lives and are finding it harder and harder to keep in touch. We have both visited each other a couple of times, but I am going back to school and have to save $$$$.
I will always have Kat in my thoughts, as I am in hers. It is hard to be without her constant words of wisdom and advise, but I try to keep her with me on all the decisions that I make. I know that I will forever be changed by this one magnificent person!
