so i'm trying to drive someone back to their car, when all of a sudden, i see like four cop cars on decatur ave, blocking off the street, and people running around in the middle of this.

if you're the driver, do you approach this chaos, and stop?

it looked like a fucking shoot out to me. or like some bad shit was going to happen if i did that.

so i turn on my blinker, do a u-turn, and try to take an alternate street.

i get pulled over on said alternate street, and the cop (thankfully) let me go. i told him exactly this - from what i could tell, it didn't look like a good situation for me to drive up to. he's like, "that was a quick u-turn" - so quick that i used my turn signal at a thrilling <20mph chase.

bloody fuck. of all the stupid shit that i have to deal with, now i have to approach all roadblocks and assume they're there for drunk drivers.

god damnit. now i'm all shook up, and sleeping will probably be more difficult than it already is. thanks, atl pd. i really needed to be injected with authority at 2:30 in the morning.
