we watched "manos": the hands of fate again tonight. a friend of mine said that if you've watched the mst3k version more than once or the regular version more than zero times, then you're completely insane. if that's the case, i win on both counts. this time around, i appreciated the camera technique - after i learned on a web article about "manos" that the voices are dubbed and no shot is over 32 seconds long, because of the limitations on the camera they had. it's positively stunning.
today i was completely hungover, and came into work late. it was really bad. just sick and pale all the time - ugh. i'm glad i didn't throw up at work, since that would be really bad. because of that fear, i didn't eat anything until after work.
at elmyr, i couldn't drink (that would have been really bad on a more than empty stomach) and gave away a clove to a really butch lesbian.
sometimes i wonder if that's my role from here on out - the disgruntled programmer by day, clove distrbutor by night. is that all there really is?

vanuslux:
As much as we're both at Elmyr, it seems, it is weird that we never see each other.
vanuslux:
Ah...I'm usually out on the patio...and since I'm not used to running into people I know there I don't really pay much attention to who is at the bar.
